Hot air edgebanding adds a reactive functional layer on top of the standard material, engineered to deliver the strongest bond and the cleanest, most invisible glue line when reactivated by a hot-air unit — the near-seamless edge that laser and zero-line finishes are known for.

The functional layer bonds and reflows under hot air, closing the glue line almost completely for a finish that reads as a single continuous surface.

The functional layer is applied specifically for hot-air-equipped machines, so it's produced per order rather than held as standard stock.
Same color, thicker material, longer lead time
Request hot air on any ABS product page using the toggle next to the width and roll fields. Selecting it adjusts three things: the thickness increases by 0.2mm to accommodate the functional layer, the minimum order rises to 14 rolls (it's produced per order, not stocked), and the lead time moves from our standard 7 days to 3 weeks. It isn't available on the Metal & Mirror range.
